Job Description

PURPOSE OF POSITION

As the Manager of BWW GO Field Marketing, you will lead the execution of the local marketing strategies and processes that drive successful new GO openings while supporting sustained growth across existing locations. You’ll be the local marketing go-to expert—guiding franchisees through onboarding, local plans, activations, tools, resources, and community engagement—ensuring each new location launches with strong awareness and maintains continuous sales momentum.

In this role, you’ll build strong, trust-based relationships with multi-unit franchisees, providing support in a fast-paced, remote environment with travel requirements. You will also serve as a key partner to cross-functional teams such as operations, training, brand, analytics, and national field programs to ensure alignment and seamless execution of marketing initiatives that support the GO brand.

Beyond execution, this role requires a visionary mindset and a proactive approach to identifying marketing needs, following through with effective solutions, and continuously seeking new ways to grow sales and transactions within brand standards. Your insights from the field will help inform continuous improvements to programs, tools, and strategies that enhance local relevance and long-term performance.

Remote (must be based within the continental U.S. and in reasonable proximity to a major airport for travel purposes)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Filed Marketing Support

  • Guide franchisees in sustaining and growing sales momentum after opening by helping them activate local marketing programs, troubleshoot challenges, and strengthen community engagement.

  • Provide ongoing guidance on tools and resources to support comp sales and post-open retention across GO locations.

  • Lead the end-to-end marketing process for new GO openings, including franchisee onboarding, local plan development (media, assets, community engagement, and in-store activation), and execution.

  • Ensure all plans and assets are aligned with brand standards and deliver measurable impact.

  • Assist in deploying marketing toolkits, creative assets, and promotional strategies that support both opening and ongoing sales growth.

Franchisee Support & Engagement

  • Serve as a key point of contact for franchisees during the opening phases and beyond.

  • Build and foster strong, trust-based relationships with franchisees, remaining accessible for ongoing support, collaboration, and connection.

  • Share best practices, provide marketing guidance, and help troubleshoot local challenges to ensure successful launches and long-term performance.

  • Navigate difficult conversations with professionalism, de-escalating issues when possible and knowing when to escalate to leadership for resolution.

Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Foster a collaborative, team-first environment that encourages open communication, shared learning, and high performance.

  • Actively support team members by offering guidance, sharing knowledge, and stepping in when needed to ensure collective success.

  • Serve as a reliable and engaged partner to cross-functional teams—including operations, training, brand, analytics, and national field programs—to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives.

  • Attend internal meetings to stay aligned on initiatives and share field insights and updates.

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field — or equivalent experience

  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in marketing, field marketing, or a related area desired

  • Proven ability to build trust and communicate effectively with franchisees

  • Strong leadership and team development skills

  • Experience in field marketing, especially in multi-unit restaurants with franchise environments

  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, demonstrating independence, accountability, and virtual communication skills

  • Skilled in cross-functional collaboration

  • Budget management and performance tracking experience

  • Strategic thinking and ability to navigate ambiguity with confidence

  • Creative problem-solving and adaptability in fast-paced environments

  • Knowledge of local media and tactics that drive business results

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
